More iPhone 4s Tips

Please read the Disclaimer in the circa 25 June 2012 posts before proceeding.

(10) The next sequence of iPhone 4s Tips are about safety.  The iPhone 4s looks cool, but that lovely sculptured bodywork won’t bounce very well if the iPhone is accidentally dropped.  It’s probably sound advice to personalise your iPhone with a cover and at least give it some corner bounce protection when the iPhone falls out of your hand when you least expect it.  I opted for a two part cover that slides to the centre and then clips together.  This particular cover is quite robust, looks as if it’s hard wearing and can be opened quite easily if I need to access the iPhone 4s micro SIM Cradle

(11) I placed a modified contact card between the iPhone cover and the iPhone 4s.  I cut down the card to remove anything that was not needed and to ensure that the card would not interfere with the iPhone camera lens and other components.  On both sides of the card I made it clear with a permanent pen that a REWARD would be given for the return of the iPhone.  I wrote on both sides of the card just in case the card fell out as the cover was removed and came to rest upside down.  You could tape the card to the inside of the cover that you decide to use for your iPhone, but there wasn’t much of a gap between the cover that we purchased for mine and the iPhone.  I didn’t want to close the gap between the iPhone and the protecting cover too much and thereby make the cover too tight
